Gull lake Mi. fishing report.

  Hows everyone doing smeltin on gull. Went Mon. night ended up with 352 in 3 hrs. Do you think they will keep up this good bite till last ice? Do people dip net them there or is it not legal? There was a nice pike left by the porta jons. NOT COOL. "Kinda CRAPPY thing to do" Couldn't resist.

Have never fished Gull but that is some good action, how many were fishing?  Last time out on Crystal two of us put just under 200 in the bucket in about 4 hrs.  How was the ice?  Indiana is done thinking about another trip up to Crystal.

     Ice was good as of Monday 10 to 12 in. Rain may have done some damage, but should be ok. 3 of us on mon. Would like to get back to crystal myself. Smelt are alot bigger there, and would like to try for some Burbot, and whitefish.
