Gull/Wilson’s
« on: Mar 05, 2019, 05:32 PM »
Heading out to Gull tomorrow morning and got to wondering how fishing has been at Wilson’s. I was  there about 10 days ago and you could tell things were about to happen.  Albertaboy

Hit Wilsons this morning in the shallows. 4 years ago I had an area in 4 to 6 feet of water which produced numerous whitefish. The last 3 seasons, and today, have not seen a fish. Wow, what happened!! Will try later this week where the crowd fishes. The line seems to be much further south than last year. Albertaboy.

I've never stuck to fishing that shallow at Gull.  For me, I'm usually 13FOW or deeper.  Seen lots of whites and they were not exactly a mystery to try to catch.  Water clarity is the best I've seen.

I would be out there this weekend but am instead at another lake with a group catching burbot and having a fresh fry  ;D
