2 - 2x12 nailed and screwed together have worked for mine they pretty rugged carriage bolt em to your floor frame or try two truck hoods they slide across nething as long as you bend the front up good

Next Year im going "lite"...im gonna run three 1x6 cedar boards on the bottom....lenghtwise.. ..with a 1/2" sheet of plywood...and thats it...sure ill have no clearance..but ill put it out w/no snow and take it off the same way...just gotta make sure its up enuff on blocks while fishing in it..thats my plan...im tired of tugging on 2x12s  :P

  Cut a piece of 2 inch pvc conduit and heat it to form over a 2x6 slides some nice.

Be sure no to "burn" the PVC though...6 inches of burnt PVC wont do ya any good!

a guy at work was sayin that he cut strips from a plastic barrel(around the circumference) and screwed them on his runners. Heated the plastic where he was screwing and it sorta healed itself.
