Frabill Popper Rod
« on: Mar 27, 2005, 07:09 AM »
I recently purchased a Frabill Popper Rod from Cabelas because it was on sale and I'm going to start Crappie fishing next year. I have always done mostly tip-ups in the past. This one is called the Micro-Lite and it comes with a P10 reel and a Micro-Spring tip. It's 20 inches long and it's very lite. I was wondering if it will be too lite for Crappie. I could use it for Smelt but it seems like a good size Crappie would snap it in two. Have any of you used this set up this year and do have other suggestions on Jigging poles.  Thanks............Max
I was born with nothing........and I still have a little bit of it left.
