river system perch

Finding perch on river system mid winter what's your thought on depth and where abouts??

Haven't done much river ice fishing for perch but I would probably start on flat current breaks with soft bottoms. Maybe someone with a little more river experience can chime in.

Well this is a link too the lake/river system I would like too find some hot perch action http://www.saskatchewanhuntandfish.com/lake/barrier-lake/ any advice on thoughts too look into would be great :)
