Rod holders, scoop holder and back auger mount on my glide lite. Painted black with rustoeum textured plastic paint.J-
........................Hey " J " How do you like that paint? I like how your Textured Plastic paint looks. I chose the same brand of plastic paint but I got it in the Gloss Black. I always thought the textured paint would look better.... and it does. Looks like I might have to repaint this summer... LOL .... Thanks for sharing your build. AltaIce
I had snagged that pic of your tipdown to copy, hope ya don`t mind. I will be making 2 of them as part of my "PackLite" plan. Are you happy with how it works for you? I figured it would be a good way to capitalize on a spot that was producing and also a way to possibly increase my catch when the bite is tough.
JJC.... do you have so more pics from a different angle of the head of that tip-down please??
Ummm....I'd take one of those if you have an extra laying around......let me know how much it would cost to make.....That is NICE!!
Here's some mods i did to my sled last winter. The end rod holders can be at a slant as is or can be turned to be straight up. Such fun doing mods.
I want to play. I built this this fall for the Chickens to have fresh water that doesn't get dirty nor will it freeze.I have a Pump inside the cooler and a Heater for cold nights. The cooler holds 17.5 Gallons so I don't have to fill it often. You said anything.
AltaIce, you are PVC mods guru. You've seen mine, I still use the rod holder and tip-downs all the time.Lefty, nice waterer setup. Lost my hens last winter to a mink, maybe this spring I'll get some new birds?(Image removed from quote.)

Right on !!! " Lefty" .. Yes Sir, you are correct. I did say anything… And this is fine. ( Don't know what the mediator will think, but it is made of PVC pipe.) Thanks brother you just made my day. That is a very cool set up, for sure. Brings so many questions to my head. - Like how hard is it to train chickens to drink from the pipe area. and I suppose they just press there beaks against the metal insert and they get drops of water? - What is the upper smaller diameter pvc pipe for and where does it go? I take it you don't have a direct line of a water supply to the hen house, hence the cooler full of water. If you did wrap it with a little foam for insulation, would it not keep the water cooler in the heat of summer, or that does not bother the chickens? ( warm water) - Must be a metal insert with a rubber around it so it will not drip or flow out ( empty ) Excellent. Thanks again " lefty2053 " I am beginning to think that there is so much we can make and have fun with this stuff called PVC .. LOL .. AltaIce
