Ok ladys and gentlemen I'm writing this looking for some advice I've never have ice fished for muskey before and me and a group of guys are going to tomorrow to try and land a tiger muskie at keystone state park just to see if we can we have all out tip ups rigged heavy and 2 dozen big shinners I've cought them there from sure and on the kayak but I'm wondering what areas/ water columes should I look for when targeting them

Suckers for bait and fish 10’ or less of water.

First attempt was a no go on the musky did get some pretty nice largemouth on the shinners and even a pm from a gentleman that was rather upset I was discussing keystones condition but o well u have that on the on my second attempt the next day we where able to land a fair sized musky around 26 inches not a monster by any means but was happy to pull one threw the ice
-
HEY ICE DID YOU TRY OVER IN THAT AREA I MENTIONED .
-
Landed a musky! Well done ice. And why would someone be upset with you reporting ice conditions? Aren't we all here for the same reason?
Good work and be safe.

Yes icerat I tried up in that area u had mentioned also forgot to mention went out Tuesday after work and found 2 tip ups set both had flags up and fish on them with noone around
-
HEY ICE THATS GREAT GOOD FIND ON THE TIPUPS ANY SIZE TO THE FISH?. ALWAYS GLAD TO HELP A FELLOW ICER OUT.
-
Yah both tip ups found had decent. Perch on them 10+ inches I just wish I would have known they where in that area before the ice left the lake but o well Know I know for next year because I'm sure it's over for this year

Don't get me wrong I would love some more ice time on keystone since it's nice and close to home but I was out there yesterday and the lake was flooded pretty bad over the road at the spillway and the ice was all but gone kinda sad to see a nice 10 inches disapear so fast but the rain screwed us I was hoping some would stick around but looks like we will have to start over fresh
