Sorry Guys, but I am going to officially disqualify myself from this trip...  Day 3 of the Flu continues with the wife and son and I don't think that its a good idea to be 2 hours away. I had the little guy outside for a  while today thinking it would be a good idea, but it has now backfired.  Hoping to hit the Charles river in the afternoon, or maybe the Bog on Sunday.  Good luck out there..  I wish I could Air Mail some of the 7 pounds of Corn Beef I have in the fridge......

Josh, sorry you can't make it. Don't worry about the corn beef, Butchy (Art) will be over around 2am to pick it up. ;D  Flaggs and I voted him to be the delivery man :P  When it arrives I'm going to take a good 1/2 pound of it and put it on a hook ::)  Take care brother! - Porter

Dang, I called my bait shop this AM and asked about pike bait and he said no problem I have plenty and it's not moving at all.  I said cool, I'll see you this afternoon. I get there and there is a guy at the counter with a bait bucket and I hear the shop owner says that will be $32.50, he pays and walks out.  I said, dang that must have been a bunch of bait.  He said Yup, he bought every pike bait I had.  DOUGH !!!

So, If some one hasn't picked up their bait yet or has some extra, I'd gladly purchase a half dozen goldies or suckers from you.

John, I hear ya - went to Barry's in Westboro and he only had 9 large suckers left!  And some small shiners. Looks like I'll have to jig up some bait ;) - Porter

I picked up 2 dozen mediums and 12 large today. Some have died already  >:(, but I'll have a bunch if any one needs a few.

Off to bed for me. 3AM alarm for the morning.

walleyes tend to stay in the main river channel, therefore harder to get through the ice, but it's not impossible.
