ice in southern vt on ct river

i was wondering if the rain we have got has effected the ice on the ct river or bays like the type one in brattleboro?

well either there is no ice or no one icefishin in the retreat. so what about other ponds around?

hey ben, i fished the retreat yesterday. about 3 inches of good ice with a buch of water and frozen slush on top. Planning on going out tomorrow. Hunts meadows on route 142 had 6 inches on it last friday but not shure about now. Not shure if you heard about the new bait rules yet but you have to buy it from a certifed bait dealer in vt and can only use it on one body of water and cant take it off at the end of the day.

there will be a sign that says "BAIT" at the bottom of his driveway. his prices are pretty resonable and there is always somebody there. il be on the retreate tomorow and thursday. Il be in a blue clam shanty. hope to see you there.
