Hi Guys, I'm a newby on the site - first post.
If you don't mind - I would like to know where the public can drive out onto Missiquoi bay. I know about the Rock River access - but it doesn't look like a good place to drive on. I am a pan fisherman, not interested in Pike, just Sunnies and Perch.
  Thanks in advance

Wednesday was the last time I fished it. There is a solid 12" all over with no snow (that could change today). Trucks are driving all around. There are a couple pressure cracks to watch out for.

Silly rookies, traps are for animals!!  Tilts are for kids!!  Fishermen use tip ups!

Fished off the Rock River access for about 6 hours today.  Only caught 2 dink pike and maybe a dozen little perch.  There was 14" to 15" of ice where I was and at least 30+ trucks out there.  I just wasn't comfortable driving out myself so I hoofed it.

Hi Warren I was up there today and got on the bay at the new Alburg bridge access. Plenty of ice for trucks or 4 wheelers. I heard that they had good catches for flat fish but no holes where I have caught them in the past and didn't see any people other than tip up fishermen. I cut a few holes and didn't get anything so i switched to perch on the other side of the bay. I went on the west side of the bay and caught a bucket and a quarter of good perch.
Taught ice fishing for pan fish by one of the best...Art Rye may he RIP
