Hey there all..I tried to buy 0n-line a 08 non-resident fishing license for my son for xmas but was unable to do so..for some reason VT must wait till 1-1-08 to purchase new 08 license on-line. So my question is are you able to go somewhere like a bait dealer who sells licenses and pick up a 08 before xmas?

I always get mine at the bait store christmas week. Hopefully they have been mailed out already. I did have trouble getting one before though.

Can't help you there. I'll be up in your neck of the woods Friday, trying to get out for the day. Not much ice here in NJ, so trying to get back to old stomping grounds.

Nope, no water down in this part of the state. I usually fish around the Lake George area, or go north up to Lake Champlain.

Ok, so I need someone's advise...I'm a non-resident who plans on fishing in Vermont this winter...so what type of license should i get if i'm not sure how many times i will actually be out on the lake this winter. I've heard that I should just get one for the season...but is that going to cost too much money?
-
I think a 1 day NR fishing ie $15 and a NR season is $41.

There is really only one choice. If you plan on fishing more than twice, get the regular license. The three, and seven day licenses are consecutive days.
Fishing = $41
One-Day = $15
Three-Day = $20
Seven-Day = $30
