I work for an R&D Aerospace company as a Design Engineer which often has me designing and conducting experiments with rockets/satellites/etc. Today I am a rocket scientist...tomorrow I could be an electrical engineer...we win contracts from NASA or the military. Basically we propose an experiment to demonstrate or improve upon current technology but sometimes we have to create technology that doesn't even exist yet...that's the fun stuff!
