Great fish,photos and day. Congradulation
-
That place wasn't so slow today, awesome day
-
Wow nice job those are some beautiful smallies! I've only ever caught a few smaller ones through the ice. Do the big ones still pull like a freight train in the cold water?
-
Some nice fish there Shane. Great work
-
Might be small pike by most standards but I'll take chunkers like that 2nd picture all day long. Looks like the Sallies were hungry. Great job with the bronze backs
-
Way to get out there and have a productive day!
-
Great job! I agree, you definitely hammered them
-
Very nice Smallies!
-
Awesome job! The place is feast or famine and you feasted for sure.
-
Was hoping to end the day with a big pike. Watched a big one on my cam grab the bait, swim out of frame and then spit the bait! Never tripped the flag. Definitely one of those lucky days
-
Great colors on the smallies!
-
Like! ;D
-
Real nice.
-
Nice looking fish!
-
im impressed ;D

Guys I'll tell ya, I got into the flouro deal this year, half the fish we caught were on steel leaders tied right to the tip up line!!! I run big baits, everyone else was running store bought shiners.3 people with flouro 2 with steel. The steels guys had more flags. I don't kno if it was just a good day for bites or if we're all suckers to the latest and greatest in the fishing world lol
-
Suckers! Steel is real!!!
-
Damn great day heading out there Friday night. How much ice did you have? Hoping to get the wheeler out there for the night
-
7-8, saw a wheeler out there, good luck
-
Went there this passed Sunday after meeting up with bog trotter, what depths were you set up at, I know it drops off quick from the shore. Also any tips on getting crappies at night there?
-
Nice work with the variety of fish and great colors on the smallest. Good to see that everyone catching some nice ones.
-
Mogl we were set up anywhere from 5 to 25 ft. Had flags at all depths. I havnt tried for crappies out there but I'd think to the right of the boat launch would be better for em. Nice drop off connecting to a big Mudd flat

Thanks for the tips, hopefully I’ll have better luck the next time, had a blast in my kayak this summer there
