plenty of ice at the Club

spent last 2 days up the hill at the club. 10 inches of ice..1 snow and 9 solid black ice..should last thru the weekend. Tuesday I met up with my friend Greg..bevies, cigars and we caught fish.  11 pickerel ..nothing else.. :o
i went back up today and did not sit down until noon..constant flags..this old G.O.D. is beat.. ;D. i had to switch to steel leaders to stop losing fish. the final tally was about 6 pickerel, 4 perch and 1 bass.

Awesome couple of days!!  To do it in the middle of March is not something that can be accomplished locally every season.  Im headed up up and away in elevation for one more stand tomorrow then im getting the boat ready for shad. Well done!
