I was told by a bait shop owner that there's walleyes and smallmouth bass in Onota lake. Is this true?

Never heard of walleyes in there. Have never seen anyone catch one either.

caught few smallmouths in there, but never heard or seen a walleye being caught from onota, itd be nice if we had em, they're a tasty fish.

I know it's not Onata but Walleyes can be found in The Conn River...
