A1 ice report?

Just wondering if anyone got out on A-1 this weekend and how the ice was?  Hoping to get out there this coming weekend, but would like to stay clear of taking a bath.

I drove by this morning and the A-1 is iced over (it was almost all open last week).  I'd be carefull, there can't be much ice under that snow.

I checked it yesterday, and there was about 3-4" close to the shore, but then as you went out about 30 yards, it got REAL thin REAL fast!   I don't think it is going to hold up over the next couple of days, but I hope it thickens with the low temps we are supose to get next week!

The A-1 is done.
I drove by this morning and it has opened up again.  Most of the basin between the boat ramp, island, and dam is open and with the weather today (warm, windy, and wet) I bet the rest of the ice will be gone by Sat. morning...
Time to dust of the long rod and the boat.

Did anyone try to fish A-1 this past weekend?  Wondering how the ice is ?  Would the people at Barry's bait shop know?

Havent heard anything about A-1 yet. You could call Barrys and they might know.
