johnsons cargo atv auger holder

anyone here have one of the johnsons cargo systems for an auger on their atv? I have tried everything and cant find anything that really works that well. FRom what I see in the johnson links, it looks good but are the actual holders covered by anything? rubber ect? and does it get in the way of driving? i am onl 5'6" and I jave a feeling that the auger will be right in front of my face makinf it hard to see cracks heaves ect... .thanks for input! you guys are always great!

I got one last year and love it. I'm 6' and don't notice it in my way. It does have rubber coating on the top were the auger goes. I posted pics last year should be able to see it installed.
