Hey all, new to the forum and to the sport of ice fishing. I hope I'm posting in the right area, but I was hoping I could get some advice on places to drill in the fort drum area and tips to land more fish? I've been out to hyde lake several times in the past week and landed a few perch, but nothing over 8". Really trying to get into some panfish and bigger perch but I'll take any advice I can get!

I appreciate any  and all advice!

Went out this morning...what a bad decision that was. Winds were absolutely brutal out there and only managed one racer pike between three people. Might become a fair weather fisherman from now on.

if your smart you'll sell your ice fishing equipment  move to Florida and take  up golf  ........ other then that   my suggestion is to ask questions  have local bait shops show you how to rig  and watch other fisherman. you'll catch on quick

Pretty vague post man how about some details or pictures ?  Pike , walleye , perch ? Got on some fresh ice tonight one 23" walleye and lost another keeper at the hole .... New spots are  starting to become available, hopefully the crowd spreads out some now ....

Hit the ice early this morning and late afternoon to only have one flag and never touch a fish. Where did the fish go?

I left my house with a south wind and 30 degree temperature got to Waddington and had a northeast wind and 18 degree temperature .... was hoping the storm front would have them feeding but it never happened ...
