X67c in the spring and summer

Does anybody use there X67C in the spring and summer? How much did it cost you to convert it for open water? Does it work just as good in open water as it does on the ice?
 Thanks
  Matt

You just need the summer transducer with a suction cup that also gives the water temp to make it an all year machine. Cost about $80 here in Canada for the part. Works just as nice all year. They also make a perm. screw on transducer that gives water temp and speed. Hope this helps.
