I get to work today instead of hitting the ice!!!  
Maybe I'll get out tomorrow on the coldest day of the winter so far.    
Supposed to be a balmy -41C with the wind and -30 without.
YAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!                
Might be time to change jobs as it seems this one is starting to get in the way of fishing.    

At least these temps will stiffen up all of our overflow and maybe even add a little thickness to our ice.

Lack of ice only means you can't ice fish.
FYI there are other types of fishing that don't require ice, but they're not as much fun.

let's rephrase this, we have just enough ice to make open water fishing extremely difficult if not impossible, but not enough to safely venture onto.
