Any Mepps or Blue Fox Users?

Any hardcore Mepps or Blue Fox spinner users here? I have never used them on the ice, how do they do?

Not so well. They spin nicely when you pull up, but they tumble and fall on the way down. Not very efficient in my opinion, you would be better off with jigging spoons that flutter on their way down. Go ahead and try it though, you never know till you try. ;)

yea, i think skipper is right...plus when they fall the treble hook rides up and would probably get tangled up on the line. i think i would stick to spoons too...

friend had some out a few weeks ago, caught a few perch but i got 3x more on a spoon. they do work but not as good as other tackle.
