These are some sweet mounts people have. My wall is gonna have a lot less room after this spring cause im gonna have a male and female steelhead pair mount, a 10lb brown i caught which is my biggest so far, a 5lb smallie, my first spring turkey, and some crappies and big gills and pumpkinseeds.
That's a Bluegill, no that's a Sunfish...I've heard it both ways!!

If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by, you might live in northern New York

Thanks! I appreciate the compliment! The first fish I brought to him were the pair of splake and the laker. A friend of mine had a large splake done by him in the past and I loved the work. He finished my 3 fish in 3-4 months. Knowing I wasn't going to be disappointed I brought the steelhead with to have him do that for me and the large brookie that was already mounted to have him repaint it for me and wasn't disappointed in the least. So I returned to his shop with 2 giant lake michigan browns (30 and 33").

Novelty pine, or Pic wic paneling, very nice as they age, must be an old 60-70's house or camp. Those mounts look great against it.

Zooplankton Thank-You....I started this post to get ideas, and that Perch mount is fantastic. I am going to print it out and show it to my taxidermist buddies and see who thinks they could do it. And , WHEN I catch a worthy fish (preferably a big Jumbo like yours) That is how it will be mounted.

The walleye stringer are fish from Erie all caught on March 17, 2012.  Total weight for the six was 63lbs.  It was a once in a lifetime day that we've all had fishing where you look back and just shake your head.   All were caught trolling husky jerks.  No they weren't through a hole but had to share them.  The taxidermist is Bob Taylor and he turns out an excellent product.  He started out as an artist and transitioned into taxidermy.  He's about a 45 min. drive from where I live but, has never given me a reason to think twice about taking fish to him.
