Myfishfinder.com is a great fishing website run by the same people as this one.

Think about it as ice shanty without the ice.

I tried to get in but when i went to the link they gave me to verify I was told me an error had occured, that I was not allowed in that area. Tried it sevreal times with the same result.

Yeah you should get a few Mr Germs to register. That would pull alot of people off the ice and onto the soft site. It would liven things up a bit.

One important thing to remember, if you don't get the e-mail to activate your account, 99 times out of a hundred it's because of a typo in your e-mail address. So, when you register, make double sure that you type in your correct e-mail address!

No excuses now, the ice is going, so when it does, see you on MFF!

Great site guys,some of the sites I've checked out before have been kind of cliquey,If you don't post on a regular basis, you kind of get ignored.My schedule does'nt allow me much time to "socialize online",But i've allways been made to feel more than welcome on ice shanty so its kinda like having a summer cottage online with this new site. I really look forward to reading mugz's post cause the goatboys are always right there with good advice and helpful hints.

Register for www.myfishfinder.com today (MFF)! If you're visiting here looking for activity from our members, then there is no excuse. It's free too. If you're curious about how your fellow members are doing during the open water season, come on over to MFF. We've already got 930+ members. Iceshanty has 9,300+ members. There already are some really good topics on MFF, both fishing and non-fishing, that are just waiting for your comments and opinions. The format is very similar to Iceshanty, maybe even better, and almost ALL the states are represented (not Hawaii yet, but will if they start asking to be). Come on now, don't push it off, I want to see membership over 2,000 by the end of August and 3,000 by the time ice season rolls around!
