The 96oz of black currant juice is a can of vintners harvest, not bottled juice.

Looks like a great recipe, I'll have to finally give making mead a try. In the mean time, still waiting for that first trek across the ice, just like waiting for the wine to brew, you know a little patience and time, LOL.

Hey everyone!!!

Looking for a spot for 2020 Jan.  I am new to the area.  I usually go to Lake Nipissing in Ontario.  What are some good spots for ice fishing in Maine?
We are coming from Boston.

Tell us what you're looking for and we can offer suggestions. Will you use a snowmobile on a big lake or walk across a smaller pond? Do you want bass, salmon, pike or panfish? How far north are you willing to drive?

I was looking to rent a shack if that is possible. I would say within 200 miles, but willing to travel a little bit further if the experience would be worth it.  I was looking for Walleye/Yellows.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help with shack rentals. You won't find walleyes but yellow perch are everywhere and nobody will object if you eat every one you catch.

Had to use a big stick today to break the ice to pull my trap, won't belong before that stick turns into a chisel. Good thing I am just about done
