Stick on reflectors for ice shanty
« on: Feb 13, 2011, 08:40 PM »
I just got an ice shanty that doesn't have any reflectors on the outside as required by indiana law.  Have any of you guys used stick on reflectors on your soft sided shanties like Frabill, Clam etc?  I'm wondering if they will stay on the material.  Is there such a thing as reflective paint? I'm open to suggestions.

Go to any Health and Safety place (where you buy boots, respirators, etc) and they will carry reflective material for your shack.  If its adhesive, just clean and warm up the material you are sticking it to.  This stuff is cheap so you could even nail it on as a last resort.

Here is a link to a great product. I have used their fire tacks to mark a new trail to my tree stand. They have been out there for over a year and still strong.

I check out that website, end up I found this product, its even better and easy to use it!

Its just like clothes hanger clip but with reflector. Its sound like pefect for ice shanty with fabric.

But if your shanty is hub pop up style, Im sure most of any brand of kind already have 4 corner with reflector. My hub shanty pop-up style KillZone brand, its have 4 corner reflector.

Here a Picture:
