how do you guys transport your augers to and from the lake.

Mine lives in the back of my truck between the flip over and the well well all winter.

i heard ur supposed to keep the spark plug up when storing/transporting. is that true?

wedge it between the sled and other garbage in the bed of the truck. if ur having problems with it sliding around use some bungees/rope/ratchet straps.

Bolted a auger tube to a 4x6 1/4" pice of plywood in the truck bed and i dont flop around when your going across the lake ..

If it is on at ATV... I just use my gun rack.
For my gas auger and my drill auger, works great!

For now I take the power head off the auger and put it a milk create which goes in my sons fishtrap pro and the auger goes in my pro, both sleds fit perfectly in back of my Tahoe.

If I ever get my 4 wheeler fixed :( I have a Moose auger mount on the front.

SAme with me also. If it is a lake I do not drive on due to access or whatever, then once at the lake it gets bungeed to the pull sled. Gas cap always up too.

Back of the truck with the head and leg together, Fuel cap is up and never had a problem.
