big creek warm up

anyone gonna try big creek this weekend.  was gonna head up there this afternoon round 2 ish and fish late.  i drive a purple and green chevy s-10 4x4 cant miss it its ugly and i have a blue clam 2000 but doesnt sound like ill need to set it up with the heat wave.  names rick vaughn hope to see some shanty guys out there.

Fished Friday afternoon 3-7 ended up taking home 16 nice crappies and 1 gill. Crappies started right away had a blast. Saturday fished a pond by Adair with a buddy and caught a 14 3/4" crappie 5 more big crappie, 6  big gills and 1 2.5# bass all released. Lots of fun and great weather.

so i have never fished on big creek except summer time with my dad when i was like 6 yrs old.   where is a good spot to go on the ice to catch fish.  dont need trophies just any fish cause i want to take the wife and she actually wants to go but if we not catching anything she gets annoyed... so i need some location help.. i hear there are nice crappies in there..  thanks Alan
