Just started pike fishing, have always fished for perch. I am setting up tip ups for northern pike but am only catching pickeral, do you normally catch them in the same bays? I am fishing 10-20 ft with lots of grass, about 5 ft off of the bottom with a big shiner, and a 30# fluorocarbon leader, and size 6 trebel, is there anything i should be doing different? Any help would be appreciated.

went out yesterday caught 15 pickeral and 4 pike (24 26 32 33)  (prchslyer  has the pics on here)  we were fishing just off the weed beds  with shinners    the only thing is that pickerals are more agressive then pike so they with strike more often
