Good time but no fish
« on: Jan 11, 2010, 08:23 AM »
Was out on Waterman yesterday.  Anywhere from 8 1/2 to 10 inches of ice out there.  Only got 1 Pickerel.  What a difference a week makes.  Had some newbies that needed to be trained, maybe they were the bad luck, though one of them did get the only fish.

i was sitting in the red truck across 44 when you guys were picking up. I was going to come out and say hello but the sun was going down quick. I will be out there Sunday all day.
Love those slab crappie, jumbo perch, and always love those bull sunfish. A.F.& A.M.

It seems to shut down after the first few weeks there.

I was there.... newbie and all.... we fished right between 44 and the island with the house. we covered that whole stretch, started in about 4 feet of water and worked our way twords the island we bailed around 1430. It was a nice day but there were only a few fish. One big pickerel and a few perch nothing else.

Stay safe all, gotta go back to work in NYC for two weeks.

sol...
