Title: Walleye at Night
Post by: PikeChaser198 on Jan 07, 2018, 12:59 PM
Going out this evening for walleye for the first time, my problem is i do not get off until after dark. I work at a local bait store and have heard a few guys say you can't drill for walleye after night. Was wondering how much truth there is to that? I understand the fish can get spooky but would like to get out before the warm weather this week. Any tips on drilling after dark?

walleye seem to bite better at night i think, they dont like light so after dark has always been better for us using sledor spoons to jig with.
caught quite a few after midnight even!!!!!

Walleye def bite after dark, I believe they actually bite better some times at night. Drilling a hole might spook a fish but I never heard of it turning them off. Good luck.
