"CRAPPIES'' WITH MY UNCLE

Met my uncle's friend at about 1:00 today. He has a place near his house that we fish once in awhile. Caught these crappies in 32 ft of water. From about 4:00 until 8:30. I kept 15 crappies and 1 perch.An eater. (LESS POTATOES).My uncle had 7 Crappies and 2 JUMBO perch. About 12in each. ( No pictures of his fish). His friend left to pick up his son after school. I guess he was about 7 or 8. I hooked a crappie and let him reel it in from that deep water. His dad was So grateful that I did that. No PROBLEM. Later my uncle let him reel in 1 of his fish . That boy had a ball. Dad got "SKUNKED". ( sorry Keith). Told the boy to be sure to tell mom,that dad got skunked. LOL.I was using a glow-in-the-dark white SHRIMPO and a bee-moth. Good luck to all. Better hurry the calender says it is about over.[/img]

Nice pile of crappie there!!!  Good to get the youngster involved.  You might have made an ice fishermen for life out of him!!!    Forecast is looking good up here thru March 5th for cold.  We will see if they are accurate!!

Nice looking black crappie! I'd be back at that spot ASAP, if I were you... heck, that post would look really good if it said "Crappies" with High Tide.  .  Of course if would be hard not to target those perch!!!
