Hey everyone,

No fish stories here. Biggest one you've caught, tell us.
Through the ice of course.

Yep

Two years ago -- I have some good pictures of the mounts

I am going to try the lake over the hill -- where we went last year with the quad -- That lake holds some slab crappie. Our other lake got hit pretty hard last year

I agree. This time I'll stay longer then 4 hours. We'll make a day and/or evening of it.

Soon as it's safe ice, let's drag our swill out there and give it a shot.

Measure the lenght and girth, and get a synthetic replica mount. It all comes down to the painting, anyway. That way you can have your mount and eat it, too. Make sure you have a good photo, as well.

My biggest one would have to be a 16.5 incher out of bear island lake... people might recognize my picture from the ely echo... i was in it for that fish along with my dad and brother. (Jake, Joe, Roger) great vacation and all the crappies we caught out of there were over 13'' and the three biggest we kept for mounting... (How do i post pictures?)

WEll two years ago I had a real good string of luck.  the largest was 18 in and weighed 3.5 lb.  He is on the wall.  there were many 14 to 15 in,  one 16 and one 17.
It was a blast pulling them out.

.... 17 1/2"  2 1/4 lbs...i caught it in a gravel pit on open water. I was using a floating rapala for bass and started getting big crappies. I got 5 or 6 altogether the others ranging 14-16 inches. I've been back lots of times and tried everything and have yet to catch another one.  ??? This was a few yrs ago and I haven't caught any crappies over 14 inches since then.

Approximately 17 inches. I have no idea about the weight. Caught it on a huge Swedish Pimple with a orange stripe while fishing for Lakers. I was fishing a shelf of water on lower Mousam Lake. It felt like an old boot coming up, no fight and dead weight.
