great to see younger folks interested in something besides their playstations!!
started when you were 4? i think my dad had me catchin' bluegills at that age, i was too young to remember.
i went ice fishin' when i was a little guy, too.
there's a lot of good advice on this site, and some tall tales too.
have fun here, but, remember- this is the internet, use the same caution here as you would on any site- don't give out too much info about yourself  :nono:.

Welcome, don't be afraid to ask questions, this time of year go with a small teardrop and stay in the weeds, the fish are lacking oxogen!

Good advice there. Sometimes my wife tells me a lot of my problems revolve around me having a severe lack of oxygen!
I don't know what she's thinking ...

Welcome to the site man, there's a good amount of young guys on here, so don't feel like you're the only one.  8) There's a ton of good info, and a lot of really helpful guys. Hopefully you'll find what you want on here, and share some pictures and stories when you get out on the ice! Also, check out MyFishFinder.com, which is basically the openwater counterpart to this site.

Enjoy!
