One 27" pike caught off of the boat launch at Harthshorn Marina this morning in the wicked blizzard. I'm not sure how the guys in the three trucks near the marina entrance did. I think they were mostly chasing wind-trips.

Two guys who wanted to go out in their ice-boats spud checked out and around the Red Buoy and said the ice was good and thick past there. Visibility was so low at times you couldn't see 50 yds. There was no way they were going out in their boats.

Most of us "truck-fished" with tip-ups, although there was a couple of guys jigging around the corner towards the point and two guys and a girl set up a portable later on around 1:00.

I was the last to leave from the morning crew at around 1:30.

4 pike holed with tip ups off from The conservation club North side of lake.  Ice is 4-5 inches.  Got a few perch too.

Did you park AT the Muskegon Conservation Club?? FYI - Non-member vehicles are getting ticketed and/or towed away. A lot of club funds and work was put into the new picnic area on the west side of the property.

It is...it says members only.  The North Muskegon Police and the DNR have plenty of authority...same as getting a ticket for parking in a handicapped spot in a private parking lot.
