Are we making ice today or not?

Jeeze it's howling out there! Wind chill is -30 right now. Air temp is 7 degrees and falling. But I'd still be out there in the shanty if I didn't have work to do. Maybe tomorrrow?

I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.

the wind is terribly cold right now, however it is removing most of the snow off the ice.  the ice should be getting very thick.  im lovin this artic blast ;D ;D ;D

Summit is making over a inch a night,I was on ice today that was open water 3 days ago,freeze baby freeze................ .

i was on a lake thurs that had 3in, today had almost 7in,   its makin alot of ice ;D

                  The ice is now coming in a BIG,BIG way, got to take advantage of it while it lasts.

yup.. it's making some serious ice. We'll all probably be on the ice till the spring thaw now. Gotta love it! We were due for it!  ;D :tipup:

That wind sure helped clear a lot of snow off them lakes.  But sure would be nice if it died down a little now!
