UMaine Fishing Club Pushaw Derby (Saturday 2/23)

The UMaine Fishing Club is having it's second annual Ice Derby on Pushaw Lake in Orono, ME again this season. Unlike last season, we will have decent weather for this event! Tickets are on sale atwww.umainefishingclub.com or in person at Old Town Trading Post or at Gould's Landing on the day of the derby. Adult tickets are $10, Youth tickets are $5 and family discounts are available as well.

I like the prize for "Heaviest Cumulative Weight Caught of Northern Pike." More tournaments should base prizes on cumulative weight of invasive species. It would be a useful tool to reduce populations.
