I drove by stone about noon on Saturday. There was at least 50 people out fishing. Not sure about the ice, but I do know they have been fishing it for weeks. I'd guess it to be as safe as any other lake in the area.

I was out there with my son in law Saturday afternoon.
The ice was good but the bite wasn't.
