haven't been there is years was going to head down on Saturday.
Anyone been lately ?  just wondering it is one of the only southern lakes
that you can still keep a walleye

Well, because of the complete lack of punctuation,  and poor sentence structure,  the ops post could be construed as a statement or a a poorly worded question.

Maybe he was stating that he's going there because you can keep a walleye and wanted to know how the fishing was.

I did not end up going because of a family issue.

I hadn't been to the lake is several years, I saw in the regs. that it is one of the only lakes left that you can keep a walleye in southern ab.
