I iced my first double digit today as well - 10.7 lbs. I’m sure you’ve dumped a ton of hours in too ... great fish !

Look closely at my avatar.  It got so bad there couple years ago...I went at 2am and there were 3 guys there!  The avatar fish was 18lbs.

Really? People try to tell you how to hold your fish on here; wipe it off, etc. Give me a break.... Haters going to hate. That's why this site has gotten a negative rap. People cannot compliment a nice catch, or simply keep their negativity to themselves.

I checked it out, awesome fish! As far as the spot, I live 5 minutes away, too many people "advertising it", caused problems for   access.

That was always an interesting topic of conversation there.  I haven't been in years because the spot isn't pretty and there's much larger down the road!

I’m picturing big dead bait along weed lines adjacent to shallow water..

Bucket list this year was to seriously go after pike but got kinda side tracked by lakers.
Haven’t accomplished much since that happened and it turns out they’re the root of all evil. (Subject of another thread perhaps)

I'm pretty sure I know where your talking about. Another gentleman and I were discussing "this" spot. It potentially should have Pike also.

Lakers are more fun and wait until you jig a 30" or larger.  Prespawn pike is more about location for me at least. There are spots where they'll group up before moving up shallow to spawn.  The bite is usually good.  Deadbait.
