Best Parka & Bibs for the $
« on: Nov 16, 2018, 09:29 PM »
Ready to purchase a new parka and bibs.  My 25 year old ice apparel's completely shot.  Trying to decipher the difference between Clam, Stryker, Frabill etc..  Leaning toward Frabill but I'm open to honest suggestions.  Fellow "icehead" input is truly appreciated.

I have the frabill I3 bibs and parka and I have nothing but good things to say. Wind proof, water proof, and very warm. There are lots of pockets and The bibs have padded knees and butt which is really nice. They’ve held up well for 3 seasons. I purchased them off of amazon for about half for what they were retailing for at the time.

I may be a dying breed but I am yet to find anything that impresses me more than a good set of wool. Warm, dry, quiet. I use them for fishing, hunting, shoveling the walk, you name it.
