Finally marked WG off my bucket list and it didn't disappoint. Caught a decent number of fish and lost a couple of pigs using big suckers on bottom. Best of all is that I caught my 1st whitefish ever!

Congrats on a great trip and goal achieved!  WG is certainly on my list too, and I have yet to catch a whitefish.  Unfortunately my winter work schedule is brutal so I rarely make it more than an hour from Portland, but I’ll get there someday.

It was perfect this week but that may change with this warm up. A little bumpy but plenty of ice with maybe 10 inches or less snow. A few deeper drifts.
