MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
some of us can catch fish on anything ha freddie i think it will do just fine but proof is in the pudding. if it dont we will be visiting your buddy Gamma for a refund
Bring it on Bucko!!!!!
it is sorta white but it is round so ice doesn't stick and very low vis.
Are you talking about that nanofil stuff? I was looking at it the other day and there is no way I can justify paying 20.99 a spool.
I haven't used it yet, but I hope it has more stretch than braid...I'll have a mental break down like last year when I dumped like 6 eyes at the hole in a row with power pro...Mono may produce less strikes but you dump way less at the hole...Hows that go Fred? I'll only fish for biters anyway.
Sorry... 4lb .004 dia..
try to keep your drag a little looser.
why looser ? thought it was as strong as fire line you mean no 30 to 0 in 10 sec
OMG not another lesson ,you are the most persistant person i have ever met so how many new lures do you own now
Looser drag using Power Pro . That's what he was talking about. You have to use less drag or softer rods with braid. Doing that equals the stretch you'd get using mono.
I understood what you were saying, my drags are set as tight as they go no give what so ever, it's a race to the hole for me... ...no fish on oneida pulls drag except burbots and the odd catfish or sheepshead....this line could be deadly, I usually run just plain trilene ice line 4lb. clear diameter is .008
20...won't stop buying them til my tackle bag weighs 12lbs like yours.
Well if i lose fish it's wiredstones fault, he talked me into the nanofil . it was great meeting you guys at the ice show. no snow there that day Snagger, not like in your town
Been doing some research on the nanofil and all. The stuff I hear about it is good. The only thing I stress is a good knott cus I hear that the line will slipp free ggiving it's so thin and slippery. Good luck to all
