Post by: Troutpursuit on Feb 19, 2018, 02:23 PM: With this weeks warm weather do we still have some time left to get out on the ice? I had 16-18 inches on ice where I fished this weekend. Southern zone. Edges may start giving away. Just wondering what others thought.

Post by: BrookieSlayer99 on Feb 19, 2018, 02:42 PM: Edges will get pretty sketchy coming up. I don't really see the main lake ice going anywhere but I saw multiple pressure ridges opening up yesterday and I'm sure they will get much worse.

Post by: green shack on Feb 19, 2018, 03:17 PM: The edges are getting sketchy here in the Southeast. Still 12" of ice, but the edges are what I worry about each year. I have surfed it every other year. I pulled the house today, hoping we get a freeze in the next 2 weeks and bring it back out. This was the longest I had it out since I got it so happy for that, might be portable time.
