And to think I live five or so minutes from most of these lakes (Fox Chain) and have to look at soft water.....how sad...oh well, I'm sure the wife has something for me to do..

While thats entertaining. I would place my kids college fund on the fact that we get more than one 10 degree low day before jan 14.lol I barely trust a 5 day. They change so fast.

Been out there 2-3 times not cost prohibitive I didn't think.  Got off season rates at hotels.
Food is cheap.  No good coffee places.

By the forecast it won't be here . We might get ic e before the January thaw!!! Then again we might have one of them iceless years.  Haven't had one in awhile probably due.

This stinks. Everytime we get ice we get 45.  :'( :'( Everytime the forecast calls for cold they bump it the wrong way the next day.
