I've seen some keeper crappie come out of Beebe pond. Sunset Lake in Benson also has a few.

Open water the crappie fishing is good on the CT River and setbacks. I've never targeted them though the ice.

Champlain below the Crown Point Bridge, and often overlooked Lake Hortonia.  State record came out of there 2 or 3 years ago.  I've always done best in Lake Champlain.

I have caught them in Champlain north of the Champlain bridge in an area called the "tubes."  There are some crappie in Hortonia.
