MC and a few other bays were locked.  Not enough to do much unless you got nads the size of Europe.  Weather coming the end of the week isn’t too promising.

Looks like we will have to wait another week or so after this weekend
I don't mind if you sit next to me as long as you are a fisherman who cares about the resource.

As 1moslab said , please be careful . Don't rush it . NO fish is worth your life or the saddness of us having to read your obituary . Another week or 2 and we should be able to try .

I don"t look for any good ice till middle of January or so. long range forecast looks much better than next few weeks.

Hopefully it just means cold and not a lot of snow! I am ready for it! Bring on some ice.

I hear ya . I can do without the snow , but I'd like to see some solid temps in the teens for a couple weeks to get good solid ice .

Please be careful Tom . Clear is good , but white ice can be questionable . I certainly wouldn't trust , but that's just me being extra cautious .

I know what ya mean, and thax if ice dont feel safe i dont go out, i like at least 6 inches and with a float suit on i still feel uneasy, what ever happened to the days of 15 to 16 inches on aurthur.     Ppray for ice all and be safe.

Well , what do you guys think of the forecast ? The next 8 days look promising to make ice . If we can fish by the end of the month , we should have a decent 6 weeks if we're lucky . Come ooooon polar vortex !

Pretty darn cold out. I wouldn't go this weekend, although I'm sure some guys will. But next weekend I bet you can start finding good ice in the shallows.... if we don't get rain.
