Not much of an invention... but it's our camera holder. Just a slit in a 1x4 pine board, and a clip from an old gps bolted to it to hold the wire.

I like it! It's just what I've been looking for for my new mini camera!

Went fishing with a buddy of mine this weekend and he had a sled I never seen before when I inquired he told me it was this

http://www.menards.com/main/building-materials/concrete-cement-masonry/accessories/super-tub/p-1480926-c-5642.htm

It was slanted in the front even though it doesnt look like it in pics and pulled real well. Just added a couple i-bolts and a rope.  Thought I'd share a cheap sled idea here.

Not a major innovation but I'm making a ice scooper that has a folding extension handle. The longer handle is nice, no bending down. When folded it's not as clumsy storing.

Thats not a bad idea. I am 6'6" and it sucks when you have to bend down to clean out all the holes when setting up. Post a pic when done if you could.

Could you just use a 45 fitting where you bend the pvc? Would be easier.

I have been eyeing the jaw jacker and auto fisherman for quite some time now, but i didn't really like the price so i had everything but the trigger figured out, came here and found some inspiration...  i think it looks pretty good, i'll be putting it to use this saturday...  with this length it works perfect for my 24" medium action and 24" ultra light, i figure the medium for trout lakes and the ultra for perch.  i made three different triggers last night and figured out the longer the trigger the lighter the pull.  i filled the cross braces with silicon and sand for some added weight.  let me know what you think.

How do you keep from loosing the trigger? It looks like it would fall off.

You probably could but would make a weak point. If you have a buddy heater it is real easy to warm the pipe up enough to get the pipe to bend. it does not have to be that hot to allow it to bend. If you have a gas stove you could warm it up over a burner enough to get it to bend.

Glue the 45 to the pipes and it  wouldn't be weak.

I made a few different hook setters.
This year I have been trying to go smaller and lighter with my gear the setters just took up too much room and weighed allot. So this is what I decided to do. this works with any small rod holder. Tie a Black string to the rod holder and use this handy little wire. the line guide is a push pin I heated the pin pulled it out and heated the wire and slid it on. When it sets off it falls to the ice clear of your line and rod. I have used it several times now and love it on a windy day it will wag in the wind and work the bait I'm going to put a bell on so its loud hitting the ice. I put my name and add. on all my rod holders so I can count them as traps.

I like them so far they take up no space. Use a dark colored string so you can see it a ways off.
I made it so the length of the string is adjustable for different rods and hooking power.
I just made 12 of them for people I fish with they have been driving me nuts.

Just set it between the 2 lips the weight of the jig holds it there I have had it in wind gusts of 20mph so far no problems.
