Turning recoil housing
« on: Dec 21, 2007, 08:02 AM »
Had the cord on my Jiffy break last weekend and am in the process of repairing it.  Will it cause problems if I turn the housing so the cord doesn't rub on the gas tank?  Thanks for the help guys.

Paul

Turned it and it seems to work fine, it actually puts all the controls towards you.  Don't know why they don't do that from factory.  Now the only problem is that it doesn't want to recoil all the way.  Guess I'll have to take it off again and take a look.  Anyone else have this problem.  Tightlines.

the pull start is probably over the gas tank so you can switch off choke quickly

The choke is on the other side under the tank, much easier to get to it now.
