Sand Docks area is just south of the main channel to Lake Michigan
There is a marina, Harbor Towne, right in the middle of it.
There are wooden pilings still visible from were the ships that hauled the sand away docked for loading
The Harbor Towne development used to be Pigeon Hill, one of the highest elevations in the lower peninsula
Take Laketon all the way out to the bea h and follow the road along the channlel.
At the end will be a parking area.
Short walk out the perch
Hope this helps
Good luck.

Anyone have a report on ice conditions on Muskegon? I have to believe they are good, but thought I would double check before heading over. Thanks in advance.

Just checking did you make it up fishing and want was your results.

Hey guys.  This weekend I am looking to go to Muskegon Lake for the first time ever (pending ice conditions).  I have been reading and hearing a lot about the sand docks.  When I google that it brings me to the marina between Lake Michigan and Muskegon.  Is this correct?  I am trying to target perch.  Still very new ice fishing so knowing where to start is still a struggle.
