Zeker, I like that push bar on that smitty sled, may be copying that mod.

How does the sheppard do on the ice? Planning on getting a German Sheppard pup this March/April?

bart the push bar was just added, great on glare ice. Kodi does great on the ice having 4 built-in cleats. He just brings a stick to keep him busy. Enjoy the pup, sheps are the best.

Pretty sweet smitty sled but what exactly is the point in the push bar idea? I imagine on glare ice it would be cool but why not just pull it?

Moosefeet time to go chase Coyotes, I don't care what 20k protesters say!
Ya we’re still gonna hunt them. We gave one a good run this morning but he lived to see another day

On another thread guys said they had push bars and liked them. I have a friend with MS that likes to get out and figured it would help him walking out with stability. So we added them to our sleds. It pulls right out for loading.

Awesome! I could use a little extra stability at times.

Hancock fire Dep. organized a large coyote hunt. Protesters gathered 20k signatures against it, and they had to shut it down. Not good press for a Fire Department. We're still going to shoot them anyway.....no ice, so we switch gears is all.
Why save them?  They take their toll on fawns and turkeys and everything small on the ground. G.

Happy New Years, diehards

We had a solid 3” of ice earlier than I’ve seen it but it only lasted a few days. Here’s a few pics.

All the ice that is piled up by Constantia makes for A real mess even after the freeze. Every few hundred yards the ice is broken and piled, then it is flat to the next pile, There is going to be some sketchy ice even after the refreeze. I have not been down Cleveland way as I move back to Constantia last month, I am gonna take A drive that way later today and see what's shaking. I had A friend who has fished this lake as long as me, and when he saw it he was talking about sticking A fork in it for the year. At least in front of town.

Oh yeah and X4

Happy New Year :)

That was probably George. He is an RN and serves on the OLA Board. Great guy.

Alright. I need to just stop looking at the weather forecast.

Every time I look at the NOAA 8-14 day outlook it gets worse. It was looking good a few days ago and now it looks really bad. 70% - 80% chance of higher than average temperatures.
